I am excited to share my thoughts with the world. I am a late comer to the blogosphere. Read my bio, tell me what you are interested in hearing from me. I am nervous about this. I am glad that creating a blog and website is very easy to set up these days.
While I am writing this, my doggos are on the couch napping away. It is a pretty chilly fall Sunday morning. What are your plans? Church? Brunch? Brunch after church with friends and family? I miss the days when I had brunch with friends after church. Nowadays I live in a small town away from my friends. I thought by the time I am an adult, it would be easy to make friends. Truth is the opposite. As a kid, we look at another person with innocence with almost no judgement. As an adult, I think “Am I about make a fool of myself by talking to this person?” “What if they reject me?”. The older I get older, I notice that the drama in the friendship is also bigger. I fear I am turning into the stereotypical grandpa who yells “Stay off my lawn!” “Your music is too loud!” As I am writing this, I am cracking up. I guess I swing between the grumpy grandpa and a pleasant Christian whose hope is in Christ.
